TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

Seisia is accessible by land by 4WD, air or sea.

Seisia is approximately 28 km from the northern most point of Australia, the Tip of Cape York. As you can see by the map, we are located in the most northern region of Queensland, right at the tip of Australia. Click on the map to zoom into the Northern Peninsula area, where you can see Seisia’s location.

The drive from Cairns is approximately 1000 kms, with only the first 300 kms being bitumen. A great adventure can be had with this part of the holiday alone. In the early part of the year April – June you may encounter several ‘washouts’ on your journey. However, when the school holidays arrive, you will find the amount of vehicles on the ‘track’ will increase, as will the corrugation. For many, getting there is just the start of a life time experience, very few ever forget.

Below you will find a mode of transport to suit every person’s time frame and comfort requirements. Also included is information on accommodation which we can arrange if you so choose.
